A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies allow the site to remember preferences, analyse traffic, and provide functionality like checkout flows.

2. Cookies we use

Vocetica uses the minimum cookies necessary to operate the site. Specifically:

• voc_geo (strictly necessary, 30 days) — remembers which country site (UK or US) you've visited so we don't redirect you on every page load.
• __cfruid / __cflb (strictly necessary, session) — set by Cloudflare for security, load balancing, and bot protection. Required for the site to function.
• __stripe_mid / __stripe_sid (functional, 1 year / session) — set by Stripe when you start a free trial. Required for fraud prevention. Only set if you click the trial CTA.

We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

3. Strictly necessary vs optional

All cookies above are either strictly necessary (needed for the site to function) or functional (only set when you actively use a feature). Under UK PECR, strictly necessary cookies do not require consent. Stripe cookies are only set on user-initiated checkout.

4. Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly-necessary cookies may break site functionality (e.g., the geo-routing will redirect you on every visit).
